Heartland Kids is seeking individuals to fill a variety of roles in children’s ministry during weekend services. These people will work alongside HK staff and volunteers to provide a safe and supportive environment for children and their families. Team members will have a strong faith in God, enjoy working with children, display creativity and effective communication, show a willingness to be flexible, manage their time wisely, and be willing to work in a team to help implement and maintain Heartland Kids' safety guidelines and procedures.
Hours:
- 7 hrs weekly, (5–8 pm Saturdays, 8:30 am–12:30 pm Sundays)
- This is a permanent position with July and August off each year.
Experience:
- Applicants must have graduated from high school, with preference given to those with work history in a related field or applicable educational background.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with HK staff
- Classroom Lead in all ages of HK classrooms
- Weekend Lead Staff Member (point person when necessary)
- Help with set up/clean up and other tasks
- Mentoring volunteers as needed
- Up-to-date CRC (for over 18), IRC (if applicable), and OP training.
