Welcome to RockZone. We are here for kids, helping to connect them with God and His word in transformational ways.
When Jesus saw this, he was indignant. He said to them, "Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of God belongs to such as these. I tell you the truth, anyone who will not receive the kingdom of God like a little child will never enter it." And he took the children in his arms, put his hands on them and blessed them. - Mark 10:14-16
While working on earth, Jesus had a heart for ministering to children. He blessed children, healed them, desired to be with them, and loved them. Our desire at Heartland is to mirror the example of Jesus by being a blessing to children, expressing God's love to them, and teaching them about our great God.

When Heartland began, Jennifer volunteered in the Children's Ministry. As of 2007 her volunteer position transitioned into employment. Jen has a heart for children and desires for each child to know they are deeply loved by our Heavenly Father. Prior to working at Heartland, Jen completed her education degree and spent six years teaching in Manitoba where her husband, Todd, was posted as an RCMP. They moved to Sherwood Park in 1996. Jen and Todd have three children: Keyara, Dakota, and Oliver. Jen loves to watch and cheer on her kids in the many sports they participate in.
