Yesterday was moving day at Heartland. After celebrating ten years during the weekend service, the final pieces of Children's Ministry classrooms and the main auditorium got packed up. At 1:30 pm there were twenty plus trucks of all shapes and sizes backing up to all the different exits of Heartland's Premier Way campus. Within a hour every item that was not nailed down was loaded in a truck and on its way over a short distance to the new Highway 21 campus. It took a little longer to unload at the new campus. As items came off, people were directed which office, classroom, storage room, or auditorium they had to walk it to. After about ninety minutes, everything was unloaded and piles were in place all over the building ready for this upcoming week to be unpacked and organized in their new home. Thanks to all who came out and helped move items over. It was a surreal feeling standing in the foyer as a group knowing that next weekend we would have our first services in the new building. God is good and his blessings never cease to amaze. He has blessed Heartland with a great campus on Premier Way for the first ten years and now as we turn the page to the next ten years, we find ourselves in a new building with more space to share God's love. What an exciting adventure to be on as a church family!
